2008 marked the 60th Anniversary of the first race that ran the streets of Watkins Glen. Over the years the length of the course has changed, but in 2007 the course was made a permanent 3.4-mile road course. This course has seen legends like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Sam Hornish Jr race battle it out. What started as a dream to bring European style competition has grown into a massive endeavor worthy of the prestige it’s history brings.
